Frazer McDonogh Designs

Garden and Landscape Design

Frazer McDonogh started Rock and Waterscapes in 1998. He is one of Ireland’s well known garden designers, with over 30 years experience working in the garden and landscape industry. He first studied at the National Botanical Gardens, Dublin, and as a student, worked in the gardens of Powerscourt Estate in Co Wicklow.  Over the years, he has worked on projects throughout Ireland, Europe and USA.

His travels brought him as far as the Hawaiian Islands for five years designing and building water features, Japanese and sub-tropical gardens. This has greatly influenced his work today.

He feels gardens are an important part in our lives today. We need them to relax, unwind and connect with nature and to create and maintain biodiversity within our outdoor spaces. Gardens are good for our health, whether we garden in them or just relax and entertain.

Our own green space is our own sanctuary!

Today Frazer works designing gardens throughout Ireland and the UK.

He is a fully accredited member of the Garden Landscape Design Association and is honoured to have been awarded an RHS Gold medal from Tatton Park Flower show in the UK along with multiple awards for gardens at Bord Bia Bloom in Ireland.
